Kittur Rani Channama Residential Sainik School For Girls,Belguam

The school is located half way between Belguam and Dharwad.The school is on a hill top which is 780 m. above sea level, on the eastern side of the Western Ghats overlooking rolling hills as far as 20 to 30 km east and west of the campus. The school spreads over 200 acres of luxuriant forest with building and playgrounds centrally located.

Entrance Examination: Admission to the School is open to Girls from all states. However Karnataka Native / Karnataka Domicile Girls for Five years or more while applying for admission are only eligible for the Government of Karnataka Merit Scholarship. Only one chance will be allowed to any candidate for taking the entrance examination for admission to class VI. Only those Girls who have completed 10 years and are below 12 years of age as on 1st June of the year of the admission and having passed Standard V th at the time of admission are eligible. Medium of examination will be in English / Kannada. The Entrance examinations will be held during the month of January for which a maximum of 200 marks have been allotted as under:
